Mixing & Slurrying Silo System
Designed for materials that are hard to handle, with mixing action that helps deal with debris and lumps.
These silo systems are in-house, patent-authorized crushing and slurry-preparation equipment developed by Kuangyuan. These mixing and slurrying silo systems are crushing and slurrying equipment developed in-house by Kuangyuan and granted patent authorization. During development, different crushing and pulping mechanisms were tested against the overall physical behavior of various materials, and the current structure was selected after repeated comparisons, careful adjustment and optimization. These silo systems handle material storage, continuous mixing, and slurry preparation, and they are suitable for feeds that contain impurities or irregular solid pieces such as lumps. A mixing shaft keeps the material moving and mixes it evenly, which helps maintain a more uniform slurry.
- The mixing shafts can be driven by hydraulics or an electric motor, and the rotation remains steady during operation
- A purpose-built sealing design is used on the mixing shafts for reliable sealing and long service life. Under continuous operation, the seal design is intended to run for up to one year without leakage.
- Mixing blades are made from wear-resistant cast steel and coated with a wear- and corrosion-resistant layer. Service life is designed to be no less than five years. The outer surface of the mixing shaft is also coated for wear and corrosion resistance.
- The mixing shaft is relatively long, and the front and rear bearing supports are not always perfectly aligned. To keep the shaft running steadily, it is built in three sections connected by splines. This structure absorbs small alignment errors and makes it easier to service the bearings and seals when needed.
