Anti-winding twin-shaft mixers are designed for solid waste processing lines where shredded material can wrap around moving parts and clump during mixing. They blend the crusher output into a more even mix, and they can also take liquid or semi-solid additions when the recipe calls for it. Continuous, even discharge keeps the material more consistent for pumping and for the next step, including incineration. The anti-winding design uses two parallel shafts rotating in opposite directions, with blade or paddle combinations that keep material moving and help break up clumps. Thanks to the anti-winding design, there's less wrap-around and build-up, so the mixers run smoother and the discharge stays more stable.
