Two-Cylinder Plunger Pump with S-Transfer Tube

These two-cylinder plunger pumps with S-transfer tubes are used for pumping thick, semi-solid materials such as dewatered sludge, kitchen waste, coal slurry, and underground backfill. To improve long-term reliability, the S-transfer tube section is secured more firmly on selected parts, which helps control wear and reduces the leakage that can appear around the rear bearing seat after extended operation. Synchronized dual hydraulic cylinders drive the pumping action, supported by a one-way oil replenishment setup. Wear-resistant materials are used for the main sealing parts, and the wide hopper opening makes feeding thick material easier. A reinforced structure keeps operation steady during long running hours and suits short- to mid-distance pumping tasks.

These S-tube plunger pumps are suitable for short- to mid-distance pumping for dewatered sludge, kitchen waste, and underground backfilling materials with a viscous, semi-solid consistency.

The actuator system of the dual-cylinder S-tube plunger pump is made up of the hopper, material cylinder section, flushing chamber section, hydraulic cylinder section, lubrication system, and the base frame.

  • Hopper

Includes the discharge pipe, S-tube, swing cylinder, spectacle plate, cutting ring, front and rear bearing housings, and the rear bushing.

  • Material Cylinder Section

Includes the material cylinder, connecting rod assembly, and piston head.

  • Flushing Chamber Section

The flushing chamber includes the water inlet, water outlet, and the flushing chamber body. The oil cylinder section includes the oil cylinder, connecting rod assembly, and combined sealing parts.

  • Lubrication System

Includes the grease pump, grease tank, grease distribution valve, lubrication lines, and lubrication points.

Features
  • A larger material cylinder diameter improves suction for low-moisture, high-viscosity paste materials such as thick coal slurry. The cylinder bore has a 0.25–0.3 mm hard chrome layer to extend service life.
  • High outlet pressure supports long-distance pumping.
  • Flow rate is steplessly adjustable during operation to match boiler combustion demand.
  • The open hydraulic system is equipped with Bosch Rexroth hydraulic components and is designed for lower pressure shock, lower pressure loss in the lines, and lower oil temperature to support efficient operation. Hydraulic oil temperature is controlled by a cyclone type shell-and-tube oil cooler that uses water as the cooling medium, helping the hydraulic components run steadily.
  • The hopper’s design helps thick paste materials enter the cylinder more easily improves volumetric efficiency. Access doors on both sides make inspection and replacement of hopper wear parts faster.
  • An optimized design keeps piston linear speed in a proper working range, helping extend piston service life.
