Two-Cylinder Plunger Pump with Cone Valve
Suitable for pumping dewatered sludge and other semi-solid materials, with a fully enclosed pumping chamber and automatic pressure protectionThese plunger pumps use a high-pressure, double-cylinder design and a hydraulic piston drive to control suction and discharge. A cone-type switching valve is used, and the pumping chamber is fully enclosed, which helps prevent sludge leakage. The hydraulic system includes a pressure gauge for monitoring discharge pressure and protecting the line. If pressure climbs above the set limit, often a sign of a blockage in the pipeline, the system raises an alarm and stops the pump automatically. During valve switching, the cone valve keeps pipeline pressure stable and helps prevent backflow in the line. This improves volumetric efficiency and keeps pumping more consistent. The cone-valve hopper is also fully enclosed, and the cone valve structure is simple, which helps reduce failure risk. The cone-valve hopper and cone valve are designed to be maintenance-free for up to two years.
Used for pumping thick, high-viscosity semi-solid materials with poor flowability, such as dewatered sludge, organic waste, underground backfill materials, hazardous waste, oily sludge, and livestock manure.

The two cylinders work in an alternating cycle, so one side can fill while the other pushes material into the pipeline. The alternating cycle keeps material moving forward during switching, so it does not flow back into the pipe. It also keeps pipeline pressure more stable and reduces vibration and noise.
- The hydraulic drive force is applied in a straight, axial direction, so the pump is not constantly being pulled to the side like in S-valve pattern designs. With a more balanced load, operation stays steadier and wear tends to be lower over time.
- The cone-valve actuator cylinder uses the same sealing approach as the main hydraulic cylinder, which helps keep sealing reliable during long operating hours.
- The pump is designed as a fully enclosed structure to help prevent material leakage.
