Sliding Frame Silo for Semi-Solid Materials
Used for storing high-moisture semi-solid materials (typically ≥70%) and supporting smooth, blockage-free discharge in dewatering linesSemi-solid material storage systems are used as the storage step in a complete dewatering line, especially for materials with moisture above 70%. The silo uses a hydraulic sliding frame at the bottom and offers an effective capacity of 50–500 m³. Silo bodies are available in rectangular or cylindrical designs to suit different materials and handling approaches. A high-strength structure supports daily operation, while the sliding frame moves back and forth along the silo floor to keep material from compacting or forming arches and bridges. This storage system is ideal for handling sticky, thick materials or bulk solids, ensuring a smooth and consistent discharge process.
Features
- Precise guiding keeps the sliding frame moving smoothly and reduces side force during operation. This helps extend the service life of the slide blocks and guide rails, and the frame can last over 10 years under normal use.
- The cylinder bracket keeps the hydraulic cylinder aligned with the sliding frame guide rod during operation. Onsite alignment during installation is not needed, and the guide-rod seal can last over 5 years under normal conditions.
- The steel grate is set lower to act as a buffer, so fast-falling material is less likely to hit the mixing shaft or the sliding frame directly.
- The electrical control system handles automated control for all equipment within the sludge storage silo system.
