Mining Paste Backfill Solutions
Integrated solutions for paste backfill, tailings dewatering, and wear- and corrosion-resistant handling in mining operationsIn mining, paste backfill and tailings handling often require reliable solid–liquid separation and stable high-solids transport. Kuangyuan supports these projects with an end-to-end approach, covering solution design, equipment manufacturing, and on-site engineering delivery. Typical applications include paste backfill preparation, tailings dry discharge, green mine soil remediation, and wear- and corrosion-resistant handling for abrasive materials. Turnkey project support is also available when complete backfill implementation is needed.

Mining paste backfill solutions are built around core units such as a thickener or crusher, a sand silo or screening unit, storage silos, a micro powder weighing system, feeders, a mixing tank, a backfill pump with a hydraulic power unit, pipeline transfer lines, and a control system.
- The design helps reduce slurry leakage during operation.
- Line sealing is used on the inlet and outlet valves to improve sealing performance.
- A cone-type ball lifting valve provides stronger sealing under high pressure than flat-face sealing on S-valve designs. Sealing improves as discharge pressure increases.
- The hopper structure includes service doors on both sides, so wear parts inside can be replaced or serviced more quickly.
- Equipped with mechanical protection device to prevent the material-cylinder piston from retracting into the water tank if the control system fails, helping avoid slurry overflow from the pump tank.
- Simplified process and lower costs: Backfill material can be pumped directly through pipelines, which makes layout and operation more flexible. This can reduce upfront equipment investment and lower ongoing handling and processing costs.
- Smarter, more automatic operation: The integrated pump station uses a control system that tracks running conditions and adjusts settings automatically when needed.
